A Message from Our President

Welcome to the website of The Durham (NC) Chapter of The Links, Incorporated!

Chartered in 1958,  Our Chapter celebrates a Legacy of 60 plus years of Leadership, Friendship, Philanthropy and Service.  Our history demonstrates a legacy of engagement, volunteerism, and sharing of our professional expertise and skills in the Durham community. Linked in friendship and connected in service, we provide programming through our Five Facets: National Trends and Services, Services to Youth, The Arts, International Trends and Services, and Health and Human Services.

We collectively have leveraged our resources to provide opportunities for others. In our 2019 program year, our 58 members volunteered more than 1,571 hours, a market value of $39,950.53. This brings the value of the Durham Chapter’s volunteer time from 2008-2020 to $567,718.02.  I am honored to be linked in friendship with 58 phenomenal women who are committed to providing transformative programming and service to the Durham community.  Read more about our Chapter’s ‘award winning’ programs in the “Our Story” section.

Thank you for visiting our website.
